Sigma Certify Enrollment Agreement

Enrollment Terms & Conditions

By enrolling in a SigmaCertify course, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding course registration, withdrawal, refunds, cancellations, transfers, and grading policies.

1. Registration and Enrollment: Enrollment in any SigmaCertify course is confirmed once payment is processed. By registering, students agree to comply with all course policies, including attendance, participation, and payment terms.

2. Course Withdrawal & Refund Policy: If a student wishes to withdraw from a course, the following conditions apply:

Written Notification Requirement: All withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing via email to enroll@sigmacertify.com before 5:00 PM Eastern Time, no fewer than 14 calendar days prior to the course start date.

Refunds: A full refund will be issued minus a $100 processing fee if the withdrawal request is received within the required timeframe.

Late or Non-Submitted Withdrawals: Requests submitted after the 14-day window will not be eligible for a refund. Instead, students may opt for automatic enrollment in a future course.

Non-Attendance: Failure to attend class does not constitute an official withdrawal and does not entitle the student to a refund.

Payment Disputes: Stopping payment on a check or credit card does not count as a withdrawal. A $45 fee will be charged for any returned checks or stop payments.

3. Course Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: SigmaCertify reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.

Course Cancellation: If a course is canceled by SigmaCertify, students will receive a full refund to the original form of payment.

Course Rescheduling: If a course is rescheduled, students will be contacted to confirm their availability for the new date. If they are unable to attend, they may receive a full refund or request a transfer to another course.

Decision Timeline: Course cancellation or rescheduling decisions will be made at least 7 business days prior to the course start date.

4. Course Transfer Policy: Students may transfer to another scheduled course under the following conditions:

Written Request Requirement: Requests must be submitted in writing to enroll@sigmacertify.com before 5:00 PM Eastern Time, no fewer than 14 business days before the course start date.

Transfer Fee: A $50 transfer fee will apply for all course transfers.

Missed Transfers: If a student fails to attend the transferred course, the entire registration fee will be forfeited.

5. Pass/Fail Policy & Retake Requirements: SigmaCertify courses include certification exams and coursework that must be completed to earn certification.

Passing Requirements: Students must complete at least 75% of all assignments and 100% of quizzes to be eligible to take the certification exam.

Failure Policy: If a student fails the certification exam and does not meet the coursework completion requirements, they must retake the full course and pay the registration fee again.

Acknowledgment & Agreement

By enrolling in a SigmaCertify course, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms and conditions, including the withdrawal, refund, course cancellation, transfer, and pass/fail policies.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Notice

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. FERPA grants students certain rights concerning their education records, including the right to review records, request amendments, and limit the disclosure of personal information. SigmaCertify adheres to all FERPA regulations and does not disclose student information without explicit consent unless permitted by law.
